Police have identified the man who was gunned down in broad daylight as he sat in his white Jeep on a Queens street over the weekend.
Police at the scene of the shooting in Queens on February 7, 2021. Ellis KaplanTyrone Jones, 37, was struck multiple times around 2:45 p.m. Sunday while inside the vehicle on Linden Boulevard near 200th Street in St. Albans, cops said.
Jones, who lived about a mile and a half from the scene, was pronounced dead by EMS.
