SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Authorities say there was no foul play involved in the death of a 55-year-old man whose snow-covered body was found by Syracuse detectives looking for a bank robbery.
Syracuse police say it’s not known yet how Charles Williams of Syracuse died, but they’ve ruled out criminal activity.
Officials say two detectives investigating a bank robbery Saturday found the man’s body covered with snow near a church.
Police say Williams may have died several days before his body was discovered. Syracuse received nearly 5 feet of snow last week.
