Two NYPD internal affairs detectives mistakenly shot a teenager in Brooklyn today after trying to fend off a charging pitbull, law enforcement officials said.

The plainclothes cops were on assignment at 68 Himrod St. in Bushwick at 11:07 am when at least one dog charged at them — and they opened fire, sources said.

The male victim, who is believed is be around 17 years old, was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, authorities said.

A neighbor said that the dogs belong to the victim, who goes by the name Homie.

“I was watching [the] movie “007” and I heard three shots,” said Martin Vidal. “I thought it was from the movie. … So I went to the window and I saw him laying there in the street screaming. He was bleeding from his leg. He was screaming “why me I got nothing, I got nothing.’”

One of the dogs is a pitbull, but the other one — a black dog — is a troublemaker in the neighborhood, Vidal said.

“The black dog has bit six people already,” he said.
