A Police officer suffered serious injuries while helping to rescue people from a fire in Harlem early Monday morning, cops said.

The blaze struck at 114 East 116th Street at about 2 a.m. on the second floor of a five-story apartment building.

Ten civilians and one other officer suffered minor injuries before the flames were knocked down at about 2:30 a.m.

NYPD officials said the seriously injured officer’s wounds were not life-threatening. They said most of the injuries were smoke inhalation.

It was not clear what started the fire.

Twelve FDNY units and some 60 firefighters responded to the scene.
