Cops are investigating the mysterious death of a 62-year-old woman in her Brooklyn home early today.

Nazar Hussein was found unconscious and unresponsive when police arrived at her East 14th Street home in Midwood. Her husband had called 911 shortly after 3 a.m., sources said.

An EMS unit also responded and pronounced Hussein dead at the scene.

Police said neighbors told them they could hear arguing coming from the home earlier in the night.

They also were investigating a report that the victim had recently been hospitalized for some kind of surgery.

Investigators remained in the apartment building hours after her body was removed. Officials said the medical examiner will determine the case of death.
