WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Police are releasing the names of 16 men in an attempt to crack down on sexual activity in a New York suburban park.

Westchester County police say the men were arrested between July and September on charges of public lewdness or forcible touching at Saxon Woods Park in White Plains.

Commissioner George Longworth said Friday that the arrests had not eliminated the problem, so the names were publicized as a deterrent.

The police say Saxon Woods was being identified online as a place for anonymous sex and voyeurism. Those arrested came from Manhattan, the Bronx and Fairfield County, Conn., as well as Westchester.
