Police released video Tuesday night of the two men who allegedly attacked restaurateur Silvano Marchetto inside his Greenwich Village building.

The two suspects, seen on surveillance video wearing hooded sweatshirts, put the 70-year-old restaurateur in a chokehold and threw him on the floor of his lobby before stealing $1,800 in foreign currency, according to police.

Marchetto, former owner of celebrity hot spot Da Silvano, suffered a fractured trachea in the attack, police said.

Marchetto opened Da Silvano in 1975, and it was frequented by many stars, including Madonna, Sean Penn and Owen Wilson.

He closed the eatery late last year.
