Police are looking for a man who crept into a woman’s bed while she was sleeping in her East Harlem apartment and tried to rape her, cops said.

The woman, 59, awoke to find the creeper in her bed around 12:30 a.m. Monday on east 106th Street, cops said.

The brute grabbed her ankles and tried to pull her pajama pants down, cops said.

The woman shrieked and the man backed off and ran out of the living room door, which was open, cops said.

Police have released a sketch of the suspect who is described as heavy-set, approximately 25-years-old, with short hair. He is about 5-foot-6 and 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing khaki pants and a similar colored T-shirt, cops said.
