Police are searching for a fisherman who fell into a Brooklyn creek early Tuesday morning.

The man, who may have been drunk at the time, was fishing with a buddy just off Hendrix Creek near the Belt Parkway in East New York when he fell in the water just before 1 a.m.

His friend went and called for help but the man’s body was carried off by the current.

NYPD and FDNY divers went into the water to search for the man but eventually called off the search until sunrise after coming up empty.

The man’s body had still not been recovered as of 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
