A bank robber waved a gun at police during a heist on Madison Avenue on Tuesday — and then kicked, screamed and struggled as officers subdued him, sources said.

Rico Slade allegedly brandished a handgun as he tried to hold up the Chase branch at Madison and East 58th Street at about 9:20 a.m., the sources said.

A teller tripped a silent alarm, alerting police.

Minutes later, cops entered the bank and ordered the suspected bandit to drop the weapon.

When the gun was on the ground, the officers moved in on Slade, who put up a fight as they put the cuffs on him, police sources said.
