Let the AG games begin!

The DL21C, the influential political group once headed by David Pollak — the former state Democratic Party co-chair and Obama’s New York state director during his general election run — is beginning its candidate screenings, starting with attorney general hopeful Kathleen Rice, the Nassau County district attorney.

Next up — next week — will be former state insurance commissioner Eric Dinallo, and the other candidates and potential candidates — Sen. Eric Schneiderman, Sean Coffey, Assemblyman Richard Brodsky and ex-Paterson administration public safety head Denise O’Donnell — are expected down the road.

The AG race is wide open this year, as Andrew Cuomo gears up for an unannounced gubernatorial run.
