Nearly 1 in 5 Americans — 79 percent — oppose drone strikes on US soil, but they are much more accepting of doing it abroad, a Gallup poll released yesterday found.

About 65 percent of those surveyed said the United States should use drones in foreign countries to take out suspected terrorists.
