“Glitter” indeed!

Mariah Carey was on stage at Central Park’s Great Lawn last night for only four songs, but the show was all hers — or rather, her arm’s. Having recently broken her right arm on a video shoot, the pop diva performed with the New York Philharmonic in not one but three outlandish slings: one white and rhinestone-encrusted; one a white fur; and a black-feathered job that looked like a wing.

Naturally, the tag #blingsling began showing up on Twitter soon after.

The show was a baseball-themed benefit for Hurricane Sandy victims, with the orchestra wearing Met hats in honor of this week’s All-Star Game at Citi Field.
