A Port-A-Potty caused a stink at John F. Kennedy Airport — and prompted a check by the NYPD’s Bomb Squad — when someone reported that it appeared suspicious, sources said.
The NYPD’s Emergency Services Unit and Bomb Squad responded to a report about the portable toilet near Building 254 in a restricted training area around 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
It’s unclear why it had been considered suspicious.
Experts quickly determined that it was harmless.
