NAUGATUCK, Conn. — A portion of a Connecticut state highway bridge in Naugatuck that was closed for construction has collapsed. Police say one worker was injured and brought to a hospital.
Authorities say a section of the Route 63 bridge over the Naugatuck River collapsed Tuesday morning. The section was closed to traffic at the time.
It’s not clear how serious the worker’s injuries are.
