A possum brought subway service to a halt in Brooklyn by doing — what else — playing possum.

The mischievous marsupial was found unconscious on the tracks near the New Utrecht station — forcing a Coney Island-bound D train to screech to a halt Sunday night, officials said. Service on the line was stopped for more than an hour because of the creature.

The possum turned out to be frozen still, as is its habit, and it was removed without injury.
