Post exec’s father dies
Patrick J. Judge, the father of the New York Post’s group vice president of advertising, Patrick J. Judge, passed away Monday. He was 77.
“He was my best friend,” Judge said of his father, a retired longshoreman who lived in Long Island City, Queens, and was known to all as Joe.
Judge, an Air Force veteran, is also survived by his son William, sister Mary Siry, son Patrick’s wife Margaret, and grandsons Luke, Ronan and Quinn.
A wake will be held tomorrow from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at R.P. Drago Funeral Home, 43-10 30th Ave., Astoria.
Funeral services will be Friday at 9:45 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 43-19 30th Ave., Astoria.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Francis Breadline, 135 W. 31st St., New York, NY, 10001.
