A U.S. Postal Service worker who threatened two headscarf-clad women and a 1-year-old girl was arrested for a hate crime, police said Tuesday.
Dainton Coley, 34, was arrested Monday after creeping up on the threesome on Nostrand Avenue near Halsey Street in Brooklyn on Friday evening at 8 p.m., cops said.
The postman rammed into the two women from behind, spat on one woman and began an anti-Muslim tirade, police sources said.
The women fled inside a deli near Halsey Street to escape him and Coley soon took off, cops said.
Coley was charged with acting in a manner injurious to a child, harassment and two counts of menacing as a hate crime.
