On Sept. 18, 2001, The Post published an old-fashioned wanted poster for Osama bin Laden. Soon, it hung in firehouses and precincts across the city. We hung ours on the door to the editor-in-chief’s office (pictured) and vowed not to remove it until bin Laden was taken, dead or alive. Almost 10 years later, it had aged some. It had yellowed a little, and frayed at the edges. But yesterday was special — we took it down.
