The maryjane wasn’t Mary Jane’s.
Two former assistants to “Spider-Man” star Kirsten Dunst took the witness stand yesterday, insisting firmly that the actress was no party animal the night her $2,000 handbag was swiped from the SoHo Grand hotel during a 2007 film shoot.
“No one else smoked pot,” personal assistant and admitted inhaler Liat Baruch told the Manhattan Supreme Court jury in the burglary retrial of James Jimenez.
“I was planning on smoking it [alone] at the end of the work day,” Baruch said of the little bag of pot she’d had with her the night of the heist.
Jimenez, a convicted gun-toter and department-store thief, is charged with sneaking into the hotel three years ago and swiping the pricey Balenciaga purses of both Baruch and Dunst.
He is defending himself against the burglary charges by insisting he had permission to be at the site — as the friend of the on-location drug dealer.
