Big-hearted youngsters at Public School 52 learned a lesson in helping the afflicted when they pounded the pavement for the American Diabetes Association.

Students put their best forward, encircling the school, Voorhies Avenue and East 29th Street, during a benefit walk to raise money for research and other programs offered by the national service organization.
