Power on the 7 train line conked out right in the middle of Thursday evening rush, leaving riders stranded and angry.
“The @MTA was able to afford a fancy new station but not new signals on the #7train,’ tweeted rider Andy Lemke just after 6 pm.
“What a crappy service @MTA,” tweeted Kimberlyyy73. “No #7train to both side and I had to wait 30 mins in the cold and rain. #screwyou #MTA”
The power went out before 6 pm and was still not back up by 6:34.
MTA officials did not immediately return calls for comment.
