A disgraced public relations princess took a sweetheart plea bargain today after returning a treasure trove of jewels she had been charged with pocketing.

Mallory Montilla, 25, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, and will have to fork over $5,000 restitution. If she stays clean for a year, her case will be dismissed with no jail or probation.

Montiilla had been accused of swiping $97,000 of jewelry that had been on loan for photo shoots.

“Most of the property in dispute has been returned by the defendant,’’ Assistant DA Maria Strohbehn told the court before Montilla took her deal.

When judge Melissa Jackson asked Montilla if she had any final words before taking the plea bargain, the socialite simply said: “Thank you.’’

Defense lawyer Barry Zone said his pretty client — wearing a smart long-sleeved white sweater and purple scarf — has been vindicated, insisting that she’s the victim of her employers’ sloppy bookkeeping.

“The DA wouldn’t dismiss charges if there was a crime here,’’ he said.

Montlila declined comment.

Zone said Montilla is trying to pick up her P.R. career out of state.
