Pray for my family, the NYPD cop whose aunt was stabbed to death in a possible Muslim hate attack told her mourners on Friday.

“Please pray for my uncle and for his family,” transit Officer Humayun Kabir, 35, told a crowd of more than 1,000 mourners outside the Masjid Al-Mamoor Muslim Center in Jamaica.

“My aunt was an educator; I am one of her students,” he said of victim Nazma Khanam, 60. Now, “we will be sending her body back to Bangladesh.”

More than 100 fellow officers attended the funeral in support of Kabir, who is secretary-general of the Bangladeshi American Police Association and an official NYPD translator.

Shamsul Alam Khan, the victim’s 75-year-old widower, left the funeral sobbing uncontrollably. He had held his wife in his arms as she died Wednesday night on the sidewalk near their Jamaica home, the broken blade of her attacker’s knife still in her chest.

Khanam was not robbed and didn’t know her murderer; her last words to her husband were, “Someone killed me.”

The lack of any alternative motive has led cops and Muslim community neighbors to believe the headscarf-wearing woman was targeted for her religion.

Police have released surveillance footage of a man who was walking near the murder; he was bearded and wore sneakers, shorts and a T-shirt. He was carrying what appeared to be a plastic bag.

Protesters outside Khanam’s funeral held signs that read “Stop the Killing” and “All Lives Matter.”

“I’d like to tell those evil people that we are here to stay,” said the Muslim Center’s president, Mohammad Rahman.

The mayor and police commissioner did not attend the funeral, instead sending representatives.
