A 25-year-old pregnant woman was kicked in the stomach by a stranger who knocked into the victim and started an argument on a Queens train Wednesday morning, police said.
The unsuspecting straphanger was standing on a southbound No. 7 train approaching the 74 Street-Broadway station in Jackson Heights around 9 a.m. when the other woman bumped into her, according to cops.
A pregnant woman was kicked in the stomach by a stranger Wednesday morning on a Queens train platform.
The suspect then began arguing with the pregnant woman and both of them got off the train at the 74 Street-Broadway stop where the confrontation escalated.
The assailant smacked the pregnant woman multiple times in the head with a cellphone and kicked her in the stomach on the southbound platform before fleeing the station, the NYPD said.
The victim was taken by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst with minor injuries, including swelling and bruising to the face and stomach pains, according to police.
Police released a photo of the still-at-large suspect Wednesday night in the hopes of identifying her.
The horrific assault came hours before a 28-year-old man was randomly shoved onto subway tracks in a lower Manhattan train station.
