Police closed a Manhattan subway station after finding a suspicious package that included pressure cooker, officials said Sunday.
A straphanger alerted police after finding the bag on the southbound 6 train platform the 33rd St. station near Park Ave. around 6 p.m. Saturday.
Police closed the station while investigating the package, which was eventually determined to be harmless.
The station was reopened around 9 p.m.
