‘Principal’ed defense
Staffers at a Bronx school are defending their principal against accusations she made romantic advances toward a teacher.
In 25 letters sent to Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott, Grant Avenue Elementary School faculty blast teacher Barbara Woods, who claims in a federal suit that Principal Kristin Erat told Woods “she can’t stop thinking about her,” had hugged and winked at her and gave her gifts.
The letters describe Erat as a top-notch supervisor and claim Woods boasted of making sex-harassment complaints against other principals.
