Investigators looking into the fatal police shooting of a Pace University football player are reviewing surveillance video from a nearby bank, sparking hope it might shed light on what caused the clash in the first place.

A camera at the Citibank branch in Thornwood Town Center — about 15 feet from the scene — may have captured images of the cops who approached Danroy “D.J.” Henry’s Nissan Altima just before they started firing at his car.

The tape has been turned over to the Westchester District Attorney’s Office, which is investigating the matter with the State Police.

The office also has footage from Finnegan’s Grill in Mount Pleasant, where police responded to a melee just as Henry was picking up teammates in the early hours of last Sunday.

Henry’s family, meanwhile, blasted “anonymous sources” who said the athlete was drunk at the time, calling the statement “a red herring intended to distract the public and the media from the real issues.”

Such a disclosure justifies the US Justice Department’s taking the lead on the investigation, the family said. The feds are currently monitoring the case.
