Prof rips police
Princeton prof Cornel West used the witness stand as a grandstand yesterday, criticizing the NYPD’s controversial stop-and-frisk policy.
“Morality is deeper than skin pigmentation,” said West, on trial in Manhattan for disorderly conduct while protesting the policy, which he said targets blacks and Hispanics. “It’s a matter of right and wrong.”
