Some 40 people gathered at the Pink Houses in Brooklyn Saturday to protest prosecutors’ plans to recommend no jail at the April 14 sentencing of ex-cop Peter Liang.
Liang was convicted of accidentally fatally shooting unarmed Akai Gurley in a project stairwell.
“It’s a disgrace,” said Assemblyman Charles Barron. He declined to elaborate on his March remark that “violence is inevitable” if Liang dodges jail.
