A public defender says she was wrongfully arrested in October 2013 after taking pictures of NYPD officers as they busted a man at a Brooklyn subway station, according to a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday.

Bina Ahmad of the Legal Aid Society contends that she witnessed several police officers detaining a man at the Kingston-Throop stop in Weeksville and snapped photos of the incident.

After she began to walk away, Ahmad claims that several police officers handcuffed her and deleted a photograph from her cellphone.
