A career criminal was busted yesterday for allegedly pulling off a series of terrifying push-in robberies in Manhattan by posing as a package deliveryman.
William Rodriguez, 52, was suspected in the string of six heists in Greenwich Village and on the Upper West Side that began a month ago.
One of his victims, a nanny to a West 81st Street family robbed on Wednesday, had picked out his police mug shot, sources said.
Rodriguez allegedly entered his victims’ homes by posing as a deliveryman and tied them up before making off with electronics, jewelry and cash.
The Bronx man has 17 prior arrests stretching to the early 1980s. He was paroled in August after serving time for a 2006 Nassau County burglary.
