A former Queens man set to be sentenced for aiding al Qaeda once led an anti-American protest in which he called for “jihad” and “Death, death to the Crusaders!” prosecutors revealed yesterday.

Syed “Fahad” Hashmi also told British cops that being jailed with accused terrorist “brothers” was the “best experience” of his life, according to papers filed in Manhattan federal court.

Hashmi, 30, faces 15 years behind bars at his sentencing tomorrow for letting an al Qaeda operative stash bags of outdoor gear in his London apartment, and giving him $300 to help deliver it to an Afghan terror leader.

Defense lawyers claimed that Hashmi was never a member of al Qaeda and now “regrets his decision and recognizes that it was wrong.”
