A boiler explosion shook a Queens power plant yesterday.

The blast at the US Power Generating Plant on 20th Avenue in Astoria rocked the building and shattered windows at 7:30 p.m., said a company spokeswoman.

Con Ed, which buys power from the plant, said the explosion would not affect the city during a possible heat wave this weekend. No one was injured.
