A building painter was fighting for his life last night after being run over by a van in a parking lot near Rockaway Park, cops and witnesses said.

The workman was walking between two apartment buildings near Beach 108th Street and Shore Front Parkway when he was struck at about 5 p.m., witnesses said.

He was rushed to St. John’s Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
