A recent immigrant from Pakistan working at a New York City gas station has been shot and killed.
Police say Nadeem Khan was fatally shot while working the overnight shift at the Mobil station in Flushing, Queens, early Sunday morning.
A surveillance camera showed two hooded men entering the station at 1:30 a.m., walking up to the cashier and shooting Khan in the chest.
Khan immigrated to the United States 10 months.
Khan lived with his brother, Wasim Rashid, on Long Island, in Valley Stream.
Rashid said his brother came to the United States to live the American dream.
Police are looking for his assailants.
