Queens ‘jihadi’ on 911
A would-be suicide bomber whose plot to blow up city subways was thwarted by an FBI raid screamed jihadist threats as he sped his car into another motorist in a murder try, 911 tapes show.
“We love death . . . You love your life!” Adis Medunjanin, 27, of Queens, cried in Arabic and broken English to a 911 operator, according to a tape released by a Brooklyn federal judge yesterday.
He panicked after FBI agents searched his home in 2010, then sped off at 90 mph and slammed his car into another vehicle on the Whitestone Expressway, but the crash caused only minor injuries.
His trial begins next month.
