Three Queens men took responsibility for the death of a good Samaritan, just moments before a jury was selected for their trial.

Daryl Reid, Terril Pinnock and Jahvaughn Garrison admitted to Queens Supreme Court Justice Richard Buchter that they were harassing a transgendered man inside a Far Rockaway deli on July 4, 2010 when 49-year-old Richard Salter tried to stop the altercation, sources said.

“I stabbed him,” said Reid, 24, who was facing up to 25 years to life for the murder. He will now serve 18 years in prison as a condition to pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter.

The trio jumped Salter and Reid stabbed him in the leg, which hit a main artery and caused the man to bleed to death.

Nine jurors were selected for a trial before the men decided to plead guilty.

Pinnock, 22 and Garrison, 23 pleaded guilty to gang assault and will serve six-and-a-half years in prison and will remain out on bail until their July 29 sentencing.

If Pinnock and Garrison violate the terms of their plea bargains, they could be sentenced to the maximum 15 and 25 years in prison, respectively.

Reid will be sentenced on June 29.
