A group of residents who live close to the 7 line in Queens filed suit against the MTA on Monday for failing to clean toxic lead paint from the elevated tracks.

The class-action suit claims the agency put Jackson Heights, Elmhurst and Woodside residents in danger by neglecting to clean lead paint from the Flushing line’s trestles.

“The MTA’s knowing and continuing refusal to deal with the public-health emergency . . . is unconscionable,” said plaintiff attorney Kate Foran.
