A Queens school was locked down Tuesday morning after reports of a male armed with a knife, police said.

Police received a 911 call about the knife-wielding individual at PS/IS 268 just before 8:30 a.m., cops said.

Cops put the elementary-middle school, which is on the corner of Jamaica Avenue and 175th Street, on lockdown for nearly one hour, police said.

During their investigation, cops apprehended a 15-year-old boy, though there have yet to be any charges in the incident, cops said.

The knife was recovered from the scene and the school has since reopened, according to police.

A representative from the school refused to comment on the matter.
