A fire in a Queens apartment killed one person and injured four others, including a firefighter, on Friday morning, authorities said.
The blaze broke out at around 8:05 a.m. inside an apartment on 221st Street near 109th Ave. in Queens Village, authorities said.
EMS found an unidentified adult inside the apartment as firefighters combatted the fire, cops said. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
A firefighter and three other residents suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene, police said.
