Animal Control officials raided a creepy menagerie in Queens yesterday and found a Noah’s Ark of illegal animals, including lizards, snakes, spiders and even a monkey.

“We certainly see a lot of illegal animals, but not so many at one location,” said Rick Gentles, spokesman the Center for Animal Care and Control, which went to the do-it-yourself zoo at 199th Street and 120th Avenue in St. Albans at 8 a.m.

The home’s backyard smelled of animal waste, although the creatures seemed to be well cared- for, Gentles said.

“The backyard was full of lizards,” Gentles said. “I would say they were well taken care of.”

The creatures included four geckos, two iguanas, one monitor lizards, three tarantulas and a baby python. There were also two pit bulls, a puppy, a bulldog and a pair of Marmoset monkeys.
