A father of three and musician who tried to break up a fight outside a Queens banquet hall became the city’s first 2011 murder victim after a gunman pumped up to three bullets into him, sources said.

Dwayne Haughton, 29, was killed at around 5 a.m. outside Kerryel’s Banquet Hall at 127th Street and 94th Avenue in Richmond Hill, where he attended a birthday party.

The victim — a dancehall artist who went by the stage name “Bobby Genius” — was walking a friend to her car after she got into an argument with another women.

“I saw the flash and heard three shots,” said witness Lloyd Pulley, who tried to save the victim with CPR. “I saw him take his last breath.”

Pulley, 35, told The Post that shortly before the gunfire, he saw Haughton and three women being followed by a fourth woman yelling: “What’s up, bitch? Wanna fight?”

The victim, who had an arrest for weapons possession, tried to break up the fight, but shots rang out.

“How do I tell my son someone shot his father because he was walking a friend to her car,” said Kadian Allen, Haughton’s devastated girlfriend.

Meanwhile, the city’s final 2010 homicide victim was identified as Jamal West, 26, who was killed at around 11:30 p.m. Friday at Merrick Boulevard and 109th Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. He had nine prior arrests, including raps for drug possession and criminal trespass.
