A union-backed education-advocacy group yesterday rapped Christine Quinn for ditching a mayoral debate today after having committed to attend.

“It’s unfortunate that Chris Quinn decided to back out of this important education debate,” said Billy Easton of New Yorkers for Great Public Schools, which is hosting the debate.

She’d likely get a chilly, if not hostile, reception, sources say.
