A Manhattan appeals court has upheld the conviction of a 65-year-old Brooklyn rabbi for trying to shake down billionaire Steve Cohen’s hedge fund with phony allegations of inside trading.

The US 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals announced yesterday its decision to unanimously reject Rabbi Milton Balkany’s claim that jurors should have considered entrapment.
