Rabbi: I’m corrupt
TRENTON, NJ — A New Jersey rabbi has admitted using his charity to launder money for a government informant at the center of the state’s largest corruption sting.
Rabbi Eliahu Ben Haim, 59, pleaded guilty yesterday to laundering up to $1.5 million in proceeds on behalf of a cooperating witness.
