A coyote suspected of biting several people in Westchester was killed on a Yonkers golf course and reportedly found to be rabid.
The victims were attacked by that animal, or another coyote seen with it and also believed to have the disease, Lohud.com reported Saturday.
Attacks or reported sightings took place in Yonkers, Hastings-on-Hudson and Somers. The victims included a postal worker and a county cop.
A small dog was killed and three sheep possibly mauled in the Muscoot Farm park.
The attacks began Wednesday night and took place over the next 24 hours.
Cops are on the lookout for the second coyote.
Yonkers police asked anyone who encounters a coyote that fails to flee from people or shows aggressive behavior to call 911.
