Just days after Alec Baldwin took to Twitter to attack a black Post photographer in a racially tinged tirade, the actor claims he’s finally shutting up — and taking a break from tweeting.

Baldwin, the subject of a hate-crime probe by the NYPD, told his 1 million-plus followers yesterday that he may sign off for a while.

“Here is a tweet that will take me to a total of 10,000 tweets,” Baldwin posted. “And then I think I might take some time to do other things in this world.”

Baldwin railed against photographer G.N. Miller on Twitter, calling the decorated, retired NYPD detective a “crackhead, ex-jailhouse paparazzi.”

Baldwin quickly thought better and deleted the messages, which came after he verbally called the photographer a “coon” and a “drug dealer” during a dust-up Sunday morning outside Baldwin’s East Village pad.
