Two construction workers say they were exposed to radiation during the building of the City University of New York’s new Advanced Science Research Center in upper Manhattan, according to a lawsuit.

The workers claim in court papers there were “toxic and hazardous materials, including but not limited to radiation,” on the site of the Manhattanville campus where the $350 million, 200,000-square-foot facility is being built.

Workers George Konik, of Babylon, and Ceferino Miller, of Hempstead, don’t identify the source of the supposed radiation in the Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit filed last week against the city and project developer Skanska USA.

The two men claim they were not “properly protected.”

CUNY referred questions to the state Dormitory Authority, which declined comment.
