A “mystery man” recruited by men plotting an attack on the city’s subways to join a jihadist insurgency overseas is now expected to take the stand as a prosecution witness.

Brooklyn federal prosecutors yesterday told a judge they intend to keep secret the man’s ID, but promised to hand over his name to defense counsel.
